Many people hear about the booster club, but don't really understand what we do or why we do it.
Purpose: The booster club is, simply, parents and/or alumni who volunteer to work and support Skeeter athletics. Mesquite High School is rich in Mesquite history. We all truly care about MHS and the students, and we want to keep the tradition alive and pass that tradition along.
The booster club raises money to provide scholarships awarded to qualified graduating athletes each year. There are several ways in which we raise money for the scholarships:
• Selling ads, assembling and sales of the All Sports program
• Sales of Skeeter merchandise at sports events throughout the year
• Concession sales at home volleyball and basketball games
If you are interested in a business sponsorship ad in the program or would like to place a personal spotlight as for your son or daughter in the program please fill out our Program Ad form
In addition to fundraising and merchandise sales, the booster club decorates the stadium for home games, sets up the helmet & tunnel for football games, hosts and decorates the fall and spring banquets and helps providing funds for coaches that need assistance with equipment purchases.
If you are looking for a way to be involved, but just don't know what you can do, we invite you to be a part of the tradition, and join the Mesquite High School Booster Club!

MHS Softball is more than a sport, more like a passion. Red dirt and bruises are in fashion. The wind up, the pitch, scrambling defense. This is what softball is all about. Intense parents in the stands. Anxious coaches waving their hands. The swing of the bat, the ball, the bases, the glove. This is softball, the game I love!
Feel our hearts pounding. Muscles burning. Lungs screaming. Feel our insane drive to keep pushing, to get to the wall. To win. I am a SWIMMER. I am a CHAMPION.

MHS Tennis is a true "WE ARE MAROON" sport because both Coach Howig and Coach Salazar graduated from MHS and are the proudest SKEETERS. Tennis upholds athletes to be positive, responsible, and goal setting individuals. We pride ourselves in building athletes to their highest potential physically and mentally. With this we have high hopes that our athletes will bring the same work ethics into their school/home life.
