Mesquite High School Earns Bronze Recognition on 2025 AP School Honor Roll

Mesquite High School has been recognized by the College Board with Bronze distinction on the 2025 AP School Honor Roll, highlighting the school’s continued commitment to expanding access to advanced coursework and college readiness opportunities for students
This national recognition reflects strong performance across key measures that demonstrate how well schools prepare students for success after graduation. For the Class of 2025, more than half of Mesquite High School students participated in at least one Advanced Placement course during their high school experience, earning the school a Silver level rating in College Culture. In addition, 28 percent of graduates earned college credit by scoring a three or higher on an AP exam, meeting the Bronze benchmark for College Credit. Mesquite High School also achieved a Gold level rating in College Optimization, with 10 percent of students completing five or more AP exams across their high school years, including at least one taken during ninth or tenth grade
The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools nationwide that remove barriers to rigorous coursework while supporting students in earning college credit and building long term academic readiness. Mesquite High School met all required criteria to earn Bronze recognition across all three performance areas, placing it among schools dedicated to fostering a strong college going culture
School leaders credit the achievement to the dedication of students, teachers, counselors, and families who work together to encourage academic growth and future focused learning opportunities.
