Mesquite ISD Athletics celebrated a new chapter in its rich athletic history on Friday, September 4, as the Class of 2026 was formally inducted into the Mesquite ISD Athletics Hall of Honor. Established in 2018, the Hall of Honor recognizes athletic excellence throughout the history of Mesquite ISD, honoring individuals and teams in the categories of athlete, coach, team and legacy member. This year’s distinguished class includes none other than Skeeter Asst. Athletic Coordinator/Head Girls Basketball Coach Kelsi Baker. 

Baker, who graduated from John Horn High School in 2010, was a standout three-sport athlete, excelling in basketball, softball and track and field. To learn more about her legacy in MISD Athletics, click here.
